I’m very outspoken. I will ask a silly question, but I really am deadly serious. I want to know the answer.

There are positive things that come of social media as well as negative.

I could live without my phone. And one thing I’d love to do is experience having the freedom that kids had back in the ’80s.

I’m keeping the pixie. I hope I inspire people… it’s really cool to have short hair.

The thing is, I get asked when I first knew I wanted to act so often, and I genuinely can’t answer it. It’s just… I got the bug, and that’s it.

With my platform, I want to try and do good things and help people.

Yeah, it’s tough being smart and sexy, too. I have to say, I’m really not that attractive. Until I met my husband, I could not get a date. I promise you it’s true. My husband Jeff Richmond saw a diamond in the rough and took me in.

All you could do was to see them. We were backstage when the Beatles were on and you could just about hear a noise. It was just literally screaming.

People seem to think that if you didn’t do the same things you did 25 years ago, then, you know, then things have changed. But we’re not doing anything really any different. You know, we go out, we have a good time. Everybody has always had relationships all around the road.

I hate cliché. And when you’re a rock singer in 1966, or whatever it was, psychedelic blues, through to the ’70s, which we know all about, and the ’80s, which was a scramble to hang on in, and the ’90s, which was a great time for experimentation…to get to this place, I’m really still excited. The huge vast diagonals within the music that I’ve been involved with.

You’d be surprised how much fun you start to have once ya stop giving A f**k.

When I’m no longer rapping I want to open up an ice-cream parlor and call myself Scoop Dogg.
