Success isn’t about how much money you make. It’s about the difference you make in people’s lives.

[As a child] I want to earn a thousand dollars a week, have an apartment on Ocean Parkway, and drive a Cadillac convertible.

People who succeed have momentum. The more they succeed, the more they want to succeed, and the more they find a way to succeed. Similarly, when someone is failing, the tendency is to get on a downward spiral that can even become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

If past history was all that is needed to play the game of money, the richest people would be librarians.

When you’re successful, things have a momentum and you can’t tell if you have created the momentum or it’s creating you.

Winners are not afraid of losing. But losers are. Failure is part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success.

Success is achieved and maintained by those who try and keep trying.

We learned about honesty and integrity – that the truth matters… that you don’t take shortcuts or play by your own set of rules… and success doesn’t count unless you earn it fair and square.

To succeed in life, you need to things: ignorance and confidence.

Eighty percent of success is showing up.

The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.

Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.
