I’m usually good about my temper, but all these men trying to control women’s bodies are really beginning to piss me off.

The best thing you can do is to be a woman and stand before the world and speak your heart.

I feel there are certain people who are systematically ripping (feminism) down because of their lack of regard and their ignorance about what the women before us had to go through.

I believe in gender equality. Being a feminist is for both women and men. I am a feminist.

Woman is the dominant sex. Men have to do all sorts of stuff to prove they are worthy of a woman’s attention.

For me, as a feminist, I would say it should be up to the woman to decide if she wants to be a mom … If she wants to go out and work, have a career other than being a mom, then she should be able to do that as well.

I actually trust the women I know. I trust them with their choices, I trust them with their bodies and I trust them with their children. I trust that they are decent enough and wise enough and worthy enough to carry the right of abortion.

I’m not a feminist. If men were going through the things women are going through today, I would be fighting for them with just as much passion. I believe in equality.

Only a woman can breathe under the water of life defying gravity and staying zen while doing it.

I am not a woman, so I don’t have bad days.

I repeat, sir, that in whatever position you place a woman she is an ornament to society and a treasure to the world. As a sweetheart, she has few equals and no superiors; as a cousin, she is convenient; as a wealthy grandmother with an incurable distemper, she is precious; as a wet-nurse, she has no equal among men. I wanted to take part in this campaign because it’s so easy to forget the many women who live their lives in fear because of domestic violence. Men have an important role to play in sending out the message that real men do not hurt or abuse their partners.
