Always play like an underdog.

I’m always smiling and happy.

The unhappiest man on earth is the one who has nothing to do.

While I am opposed to all orthodox creeds, I have a creed myself; and my creed is this. Happiness is the only good. The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here. The way to be happy is to make others so. This creed is somewhat short, but it is long enough for this life, strong enough for this world. If there is another world, when we get there we can make another creed.

Happiness, wealth, and success are the byproducts of goal setting; they cannot be the goals themselves.

Happiness cannot be travel to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.

Anybody who thinks money will make you happy, hasn’t got money.

It isn’t necessary to be rich and famous to be happy, it’s only necessary to be rich.

The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one.

Happiness ain’t a thing in itself -it’s only a contrast with something that ain’t pleasant. And so, as soon as the novelty is over and the force of the contrast dulled, it ain’t happiness any longer, and you have to get something fresh.

There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.

Happiness is a continuation of happenings which are not resisted.

Happiness is a gift and the trick is not to expect it, but to delight in it when it comes.

But you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

The secret of happiness? Live life in the slow lane.

I’ve found happiness in my work, but not in my private life. I had to take from my private life to make my public life successful. I had to make a lot of sacrifices. I was happy in Cardiff. I had a great time. Every Thursday there was a factory club; darts, dancing. I was happy until success entered my life, and then it was all downhill. Success spoilt me. It took away my happiness. My success became a barrier with my family. They couldn’t relate to me, and I couldn’t relate to them.
